The John L. Wehle Gallery of Sporting Art contains one of the largest collections of sporting and wildlife art in North America. Originally the personal collection of Genesee Country Village & Museum founder, John L. Wehle, the Gallery offers a wide range of commentary on natural history presented through the work of hundreds of internationally recognized artists and sculptors. Founded in 1965, the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center was conceived as a tribute to the men and women who helped establish the West as an integral part of America's culture heritage. Dedicated to the world's foremost collection of wildlife art, the National Museum of Wildlife Art boasts 12 beautiful galleries. The museum is located 2.5 miles north of Jackson, Wyoming near the Grand Teton National Park. Check their list of current exhibits. |
